The restoration of Villa La Saracena began in 2017. Thorough documental research was conducted to gain a detailed understanding of the work regarding its architectural language and constituent elements, as well as its construction aspects. The debate on the restoration of modern architecture includes numerous interventions on important works. They are very useful examples related to each work’s unique history, construction characteristics and state of degradation based on a caseby- case approach.
