In the Cornigliano district in Genoa, beyond the Polcevera torrent, downhill from the hill system descending in a flatland area toward the Ligurian sea, a regeneration intervention has been recently completed on the buildings that hosted the confectionary Dufour, dismissed a long time ago. The project for the new Civic Center is a reelaboration of the original structure, preserving traces of the former industrial destination and reorganizing space by enhancing its accessibility and functionality to give rise to a public use system and host social and recreational functions.
