Gallerie d’Italia in Turin

Building Redevolpment Prize

AMDL CIRCLE e Michele De Lucchi

The project regenerates the space of the underground rooms of Palazzo Turinetti, which are regenerated and equipped as exhibition halls. The museum is accessed by a monumental stairway in Luserna stone in the inner courtyard, which also serves as a parterre and a place for socialization. Natural light descends and diffuses into the entrance hall on the -2 floor, animated by the play of reflections generated by the installation of steel bands that wrap around the walls.
